SSC JE Cut Off 2023
There are two papers in the SSC JE test format. The Paper-II offline exam will follow the Paper-I computer-based exam. Only applicants who complete Paper I will be permitted to take Paper II.
It will be an objective-type Paper consisting of three sections and 200 questions, which must be completed in 2 hours. The detailed pattern is as per following

Exam pattern for Paper II
Paper II will be a descriptive-type paper. It will consist of questions from the arenas where the candidates have done their engineering at graduation or diploma level. It will be of 2 hours duration.

SSC JE cut off 2023
The cut-off for the SSC JE paper I held between November 14, 20222, to November 16, 2022, was released on the official website of SSC on January 18, 2023, for Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering. Therefore, candidates who took the SSC JE Test in 2022–2023 can now view the cut-off scores for each branch by category.
Candidates who achieved marks greater than or equal to the cut-off may participate in Tier II, the following stage (Mains Exam). The SSC JE Tier II Examination will take place on February 26, 2023. Check the SSC Junior Engineer Cut-off 2023 in the section below.

The category-wise list of cut-off marks for the Mechanical /Electrical engineering department follows. Those students who have received these marks or above shall be eligible to write the descriptive Paper in Tier II. Therefore, the total number of qualified candidates from this department is 4533.

SSC JE Civil engineering Cut off
Following is the category-wise list of cut-off marks for the Civil engineering department. Those candidates who were able to score equivalent marks or above shall be eligible to write the descriptive Paper in the second phase. SSC JE Merit list 2023
- In addition to the Tier 1 exam results, SSC will also publish the SSC JE Merit List 2023.
- The final merit list will rank the candidates according to their normalised scores.
- The applicants who received the highest scores on the Tier 1 exam will be contacted for the next round of hiring.
- The SSC’s official website will host the merit list in PDF format, and the scorecards of the candidates will also include information about the candidates’ rankings.
- The SSC will publish a final SSC JE Merit List 2023 based on the results of both the Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams following the completion of the Tier 2 exam.
