The story is set in Kingstown, Michigan, a company town where the business is solely operated by one company, which is also the main employer. The McLusky family, for decades, have been maintaining the peace in Kingstown by acting as the moderators between the street gangs, cops, prisoners and guards. They tackle all the unlawful actions like corruption, racism and inequality in Kingstown to bring order and justice.
