Eligibility
The eligibility criteria are as follows:
- The applicant’s upper age should be up to 64 years.
- The candidate should have an MBBS from a recognized Institute/College approved by the Medical Council of India.
Age Limit
Based on the official notification, the age limit is as follows:

Salary
The selected candidate will get a monthly salary as per the following details:

| Sr Medical Specialist E-4 | Rs. 70,000 to Rs.200000 |
| Sr Medical Officer E-3, Medical Specialist E-3 and Sr Medical Officer (Dental) E-3 | Rs.60000 to Rs.180000 |

Required Qualifications and Experience
The required qualifications and experience for each post are as follows:
Sr. Medical Specialist
- For General Surgery, General Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine:
- Minimum qualification is MBBS from a recognized Institute/College approved by the Medical Council of India.
- Recognized Post Graduate Degree/DNB.
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
- For other Specialists, in addition to the above:
- Post Graduate Diploma is also considered as one of the minimum eligible qualifications.
- The Period of Tutorship done from a National Medical Council/Commission-recognized Medical College/institute will be treated as a post-qualification experience.
- Experience in private practice/self-clinic may also be considered as post-qualification experience.
Sr Medical Officer
- For General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine:
- Minimum qualification is MBBS from recognized Institute/College approved by Medical Council of India with recognized PG Degree/DNB.
- For other Specialists, in addition to the above:
- Post Graduate Diploma is also considered as one of the minimum eligible qualifications.
- The Period of Tutorship done from National Medical Council/Commission recognized Medical College/institute will be treated as Post Qualification experience.
- The Period of completed Fellowship course, recognized by the Medical Council of India will be accepted as Post qualification experience.
- Experience of private practice/self-clinic may also be considered as post qualification experience.
Sr Medical Officer
- The candidate should have MBBS from recognized Institute/College approved by Medical Council of India.
- Experience of private practice/self-clinic may also be considered as post qualification experience.
Sr. Medical Officer (Dental)
- The candidate should have BDS from a recognized Institute/College approved by the Dental Council of India with 01 year post qualification experience from a Hospital/Clinic.
- Experience in private practice/self-clinic may also be considered as post-qualification experience.
Selection Process
The selection process is based on a personal interview. A committee will shortlist candidates for interview in the ratio of 1:10, if the application received is more than 10 in ratio. However, the above shortlisting will not be applicable to Medical Specialist and Sr Medical Specialist.
