The film was produced by D. V. V. Danayya under his production house DVV Entertainment.

The movie is written by V.Vijayendra Prasad and S.S. Rajamouli, who is also the director of the movie. Originally the movie was made in Telugu and Tamil languages, and shortly after, the movie was dubbed into Hindi and Malayalam. The movie was packed with a wonderful cast, including several famous actors like N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan, and Shriya Saran.
RRR did a business of around ₹1,200–1,258 crore, making it the biggest hit of the year for Indian movies; and the third biggest movie in Indian cinema history till now. Post the success of RRR, the director S.S. Rajamouli confirmed that they are in talks about bringing its sequel- RRR 2.
RRR 2 Shooting
Rajamouli declared the movie is in its early stages of development during a screening event in Chicago. The director said that the sequel’s plot is being written by his father, who also serves as a screenwriter. But because the movie’s specifics are a secret, he didn’t provide many details about it. Later the writer KV Vijayendra officially updated that the story of RRR 2 has been finalised. Â
Since the movie is in its very early developmental state, and Director S.S. Rajamouli is recently busy with his project with Mahesh Babu. He is also lined up with some other Hollywood movies. Therefore, S.S. Rajamouli will begin with the shooting of the movie after he gets freed from his prior work commitments. The shooting and post-developmental phase is expected to take time. Therefore, it can be estimated that the movie will be released by 2027.
RRR 2 Budget
The first part of the movie RRR was made with a massive budget of 550 crore rupees, and the movie was a blockbuster in India as well as overseas and made a business of around 1258 crore rupees. Therefore, it can be anticipated that RRR 2 will also be a high-budget movie.Â
RRR 2 Storyline
The Storyline of RRR 2 has not yet been confirmed. Still, it can be assumed that the sequel will showcase the other struggles of the revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
 In the first part, the story showcased the atrocities laid by the British Raj on the administrators of a forest and showcased several other atrocities laid by British Raj on the local tribe. Raged by the atrocities, two revolutionaries- Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, set out to fight against their atrocities. It is an exciting plot to see how different revolutionaries from different background cross each other’s paths and fight for a common cause.
