Adipurush Release Date
Superstar Prabhas’ upcoming Magnum Opus Adipurush has created a buzz among the audience. Blockbuster movie Tanhaji’s director Om Raut directed the movie. It is his second Bollywood movie after two years. Adipurush is shot in Hindi and Telugu languages and is the first Telugu 3D epic film by director Om Raut.

The film’s shooting was completed in 2021, but unfortunately, it has not been released till now. Previously the makers scheduled the film to be released on August 11, 2022, but postponed it as the highly awaited Aamir Khan starring Lal Singh Chadha is set to release on the same day.
Adipurush Movie Release Date
To avoid the clash between the two mega-budget films, the filmmakers cancelled the release date. But finally, Raising the temperature high, Adipurush is set to release this summer on June 16, 2023.

Talking about the star cast of the film, the lead characters of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita are portrayed by Prabhas and Kriti Sanon. The makers later revealed that Prabhas’ character is named Raghav in the movie. Bollywood nawab Saif Ali Khan is seen in the role of Lankesh, while Devdatta Nage is playing Hanuman in the movie.
Saif Ali Khan has previously also worked with director Om Raut in his last film Tanhaji as an antagonist. To deliver the role of Lord Rama’s brother Lakshmana, Sunny Singh was chosen. Apart from these, actors Vatsal Sheth, Trupti Toradmal, and Sonal Chauhan are also appearing in the movie with significant roles.
Adipurush Budget
Music company T-Series Films owner Bhushan Kumar along with Krishna Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair, financed the big-budget movie. It is the third time actor Prabhas Kumar is collaborating with producer Bhushan Kumar. Before that, they have come together in Shyam and Saaho.
Believing the rumours, the film’s budget is very high due to the money spent on visual effects. It has been heard that the mega film is made with a budget of over 550 crores, and almost half of its budget is spent on VFX. It is among the most expensive films in Bollywood to date; hence to recover the budget, the film must do well at the box office.
